Cr Eddie Stone is the mayor of Kolan Shire Council, he has been a councilor for 28 years this year and mayor for 7. At the Red Friday Rally in Gayndah, Cr Stone expressed his concern over forced Local Government Amalgamation. During the march the former Cane farmer and Grazier carried a coffin to symbolise the Death of Democracy which he says was brutally murdered by Peter Beattie.
