George Christensen is a small business owner and editor of two community newspapers in Mackay. Interestingly George is also a councilor on Mackay City Council (see his MSC webpage).

George has been outspoken on the issue of local government reform, here is an article from George's blog and here is his own youtube video on the issue of amalgamation. It is great to see the democratic process in full swing.
